No Coronavirus was going to stop the cast and crew members of the hit local film, Losing Lerato, to fetch their wins at an international film festival.
Despite the outbreak, they were adamant that they were going to travel abroad and showcase their film.
The film grossed millions at the local box office, now the film has gone international. They took home six awards at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema in California.

One of the actors Thato Molamu was over the moon and gushed on Instagram for the amazing work they have done;
"We travelled halfway across the world with six nominations and I am happy to say Bakwena Productions landed six awards of nine. The international nomination for me was a great milestone, and big up to the team for bagging them. What a time to be alive to get an international recognition for Jake Daddy Chief. Well done team."
The team will be heading back home soon.
