Influencers around the world are always busy trying to come up with different challenges and no one is restricted from taking part. The latest craze was the #SilhouetteChallenge and a few of our African celebs took part.
Here's a look at some of the challenges that stole the internet's attention.
Silhouette Challenge
The Silhouette Challenge was just another challenge created by influencers that started off with just being fun and games till some took it further. The Challenge saw people having less clothing on to them being stark naked which raised certain concerns. The challenge sees participants dancing to Paul Anka’s song, “Put Your Head On My Shoulder”.
Buss It Challenge
A challenge which saw many of our favourites breaking it down was the Buss It Challenge. This challenge can be likened to a "before and after" or should we say "glow up" type of thing. Participants, like the Silhouette Challenge, first dress in not so good looking clothes or gowns, to breaking it down on the dancefloor after dressing up and looking very good.
Over 40 Challenge
This challenge allowed the over 40 year olds to show off that age ain't nothin' but a number! The over 40 year olds saw this as a way of showing off their good looks and that 40 year olds could be going through a mid-life crisis but still look good as hell! June Bug Challenge
This challenge saw some of our favourite Tik Tokers influencing us to move our arms uncontrollably. The awkward arm dance saw some of the international celebrities participating and doing it anywhere, could be at the mall, filling up petrol or whilst standing on top of their cars.
The Jerusalema
When lockdown started this challenge kept us on our toes and painted a united world even though we had to unite from a distance. It's a little bit last year but since it is proudly South African we though why not? This saw everyone from hospital workers, to church members dancing along to Master KG's Jerusalema. This challenge helped the producer climb up the ranks when it came to streams and we could not be more proud.
