Actress Sibusisiwe Jili known by many as Detective Georgina on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela The Queen spoke out after her brother Mvelo Ntuli was evicted from Big Brother Mzansi the past Sunday.
Speaking about his brother Mvelo, Sibusisiwe said she was sad that her brother could not stay longer, but it was a game, elimination was expected. It is clear that Sibusisiwe didn’t expect his brother to leave, which also came as a shock to us because we didn’t know they were related.
In his interview Mvelo said he didn’t want to use his relation with Sibusisiwe to get ahead. Speaking with Daily Sun Mvelo said his sister has been supportive.
“My sister is supportive; she is more than just a sibling to me. People in the industry and general try to pressurise me. I am not someone who falls into pressure,” he commented.
Mvelo (28) was nominated along housemates Norman, Dinky Bliss, Gush 1 and Mpho; unfortunately the axe got him and Dinky Bliss.
Mvelo told Big Brother Mzansi’s presenter Lawrence Maleka that leaving the house was a nostalgic moment. He also made it clear he was not going to miss anybody from the house. Does this mean Mvelo’s experience of the house was not nice at all?
Sibusisiwe described her brother as sensitive and sympathetic towards others. He said Mvelo loves to laugh, and cook. No wonder he was accused of always being in the kitchen during the show. I believe he was judged without been given a chance.
Sibusisiwe on the other hand is not new to our screens; she was introduced to the viewers on Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya. She made herself known when she played the role of Zanele, who was Qaphela’s (Abdul Khoza) girlfriend.

When she left Isibaya many wondered what was going to be her next move. While still wondering she came back on our screens bigger and better. Sibisisiwe was introduced to us as a glamorous police officer at first, always following Vuyiswa (Zandile Msutwana) around annoying her. We were all shocked to learn that she was the eldest daughter of Mjekejeke (Sipho Manzini) and Petronella (Thembi Matu).
Not so long ago Sibusisiwe was pregnant and she gave birth to a baby boy called Onke. The actress said this was her miracle baby as 10 years ago doctors said she could not conceive again, after losing her first child.
