Zakes hoped to settle a score with AKA, who beat him last year in the “1 Goal for Cancer” initiative, but he lost – again!
The pair went head-to-head at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium on Monday in a seven-a-side celebrity football match.
Some of the celebrities who participated included Pearl Thusi, Slikour, Doctor Khumalo, Darren and Ryan (Twins on Decks) and Nandi Mngoma.
Zakes started the initiative in 2014 in honour of his mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007.

The campaign aims to make cancer education more accessible to people living in rural and township areas.
Zakes told Destiny magazine last month that his own family believed his mother suffered from supernatural misfortune.
Last year, AKA got to shave Zakes head, and we’re sure he can’t wait to do the same again.
But we think they’re both winners for helping raise money and awareness for cancer.
