AKA Redbull Music Festival

All good things have to come to an end, but then when it's Red Bull, even their lows end on a high note (get it, Red Bull gives you wings so..never mind). We got a hyped up closer to a festival that saw Red Bull taking over the golden city.

So, where can one go to get hype? Well, Red Bull went all the way kasi and took it to Zone 6. The venue was heat enough now imagine when we saw the line-up. Jullian Gomes, Da Capo, Sjava, Sho Madjozi, AKA, Distruction Boyz and Rude Boyz, a fair mix of house, Gqom and raps. We weren't going to complain, we put on our game faces and got ready to

To heat the crowd up Jullian Gomes and Da Capo SA were the first up. Taking the crowd through the beautiful abyss that is house music. People got to the dancefloor as if in a trance and prepared to set the soles of their shoes alight for the rest of the night.

Soon after that, Indlalifa took to the stage. Rocking a camo coat and strutting on stage with the finesse of iNkosi. He took the crowd and placed them in the palm of his hand, taking them through the valley that is his hits.

Not late after that Madjozi came through in her Xibelani and took the whole club to Limpopo. A standout was when she performed her new XiTsonga banger 'Kona' and invited the crowd on stage to help her get the party started.

Then it was AKA's turn to do that thing he does. And boy. Did. He. Do. It. The king of drama had the most dramatic entrance and kept the crowd lit for the remainder of his set. He went back in his catalogue touching on 'Victory Lap'  and 'Composure'  talking about he's tired of being the better man (we're thinking he brought 'Composure' out after so long because of Cassper doing this but asikho lapho).

After Supa Mega the night was dedicated to the dedicated Gqom-sters Distruction Boyz and Rude Boyz who mad the crowd go wild one last time.

A perfect ending to what was a great takeover. Now, we can only imagine what else the team at Red Bull will bring for the remainder of the year. We're defos here for it.
