On Tuesday, 30 May 2023, the country was rocked with yet another surprising passing of a beloved media personality. This is as former 702 personality and political analyst Eusebius McKaiser was confirmed to have passed.

Shared by TimesLive, the report read in part: 

"Unfortunately, I can confirm that it is true. He died earlier this afternoon in Joburg," said Strydom when asked about reports of McKaiser's death.

Subsequently, the article did confirm that his passing was unexpected as it happened so quickly. Moreover, it was confirmed that the cause of his passing was as a result of a suspected epileptic seizure he had suffered. 
In light of his passing, his family and representative have now shared details of his upcoming memorial service.  

All you need to know about Eusebius McKaiser’s memorial service

Taking to social media ahead of his memorial service, Eusebius’ representatives shared details on the upcoming service. 

As such, the shared details explained that the memorial service is set to take place on Tuesday, 6 June 2023, at The Empire Conference and Events from 11:00 until 12:00. However,it is advised that attendees arrive before 10:45 in order to allow the memorial to start timeously. 

Moreover, the link in order to livestream the memorial has been shared for those that cannot attend the proceedings physically. 

In light of Eusebius’ love for reading and books given his illustrious career as a political analyst, the memorial description did share: 

“In lieu of flowers, please bring a book in Eusebius’s honour to donate to a charity of the family’s choice.” 
At the time of his passing, Eusebius was in a long-term relationship with his partner Ndunduzo Nyanda. However, the last time that Ndunduzo had posted was when the two had celebrated Christmas with their family. 
Another close friend and fellow political personality to have recently honoured the personality via social media was Redi Tlabi

She took to Twitter to share what seems to be one of their fond moments together as Eusebius was bidding farewell to the personality at the airport as Redi lives between South Africa and the UK.
