Q: How did you get in the radio industry?

I went to University of Pretoria to study Psychology and Criminology but since I was from an art school, I still had the passion of entertainment and performing. One day I went to audition at Tuks FM and that’s how I joined radio.

Q: What is the best thing about being on air during the national lockdown?

It reminds me why I do radio. When you are a radio personality, listeners depend on you for entertainment and credible information. Since the inception of lockdown, I had to find more ways of engaging with my listeners for example the “Lunch time karaoke”. My listeners happiness is all that matters, molifeng!

Q: You are on air from 12pm until 3pm, what does the rest of your day look like?

I have developed a routine to help me with my tasks. I do home workouts in the morning before the show, sometimes I do them in the afternoon after the show. I focus on my DJ sets as I have more time. I always prepare mixes for the 947 Mix at 6pm on the FreshOn947 show.

Q: What is the one thing people do not know about MVP?

I am shy.

Q: What are the three things you cannot live without during lockdown?

Not so much, I think people we yearn to be outside all the time. They will be popular in certain aspects. For example, if you are in the mood for a party and you do not want to go outside but you want to listen to good music.

Q: Make a banana bread or amagwinya?

None.

Q: Three easy home exercises you recommend

  • Squads
