When Boity first came out as a rapper with her debut single Whuz Dat featuring Nasty C , a lot of people had some mixed emotions.
Some claimed that she was trying to sound like Cardi B and others speculated that Nasty C might have ghost written her verses.
The presenter-turned-rapper went on to prove to the naysayers that she's got mad skill and a whole lot of rhymes stacked up. Her smash hit BaKae was on everybody's lips as soon as it dropped and many who had doubted her were forced to swallow their words.
Boity has had quite a lot of memorable live performances since embarking on her new rap career but her recent performance at the Macufe Festival seems to be the highlight of her career thus far.
Boity had the crowd going wild at the annual Mangaung Arts and Cultural Festival (aka Macufe Festival) with her hit single BaKae.
The rapper took to instagram to share a bit of the experience.
"I think I just experienced my best performance last night!!! I almost cried on stage! 😂😂😂 The crowd gave me SO MUCH LOVE!!! Thank you so much Bloem for the love you consistently show me! #MacufeHipHopShow #Macufe #Macufe2019 #Tshepe," she wrote.
Boity also turned the crowd up with her very first rap single Whuz Dat.
So word to the haters, Boity can't hear you over the sound of her ROARING crowd!
