The rapper who hails all the way from Auckland Park in Johannesburg told the publication that he suffers from depression and it worsened when times got tough. Thanks to the Ba Kae rapper, he got saved by Boity.
“Things have been so hard for me and this has affected me because I can’t pay my bills. I can’t even get gigs. I’m struggling and I’m battling depression.
They both met in 2019 and said she has supposedly been of great help, describing her that she has a beautiful heart. “She has been helping me where she can and sending me food vouchers and transport money,” adding that she also even allegedly bought him clothes.
Boity has been of great help to a lot of people on social media who seek help. When people want money or transport or even a new calculator, Boity is always there to help.
One of the people who have been helped was Sol Phenduka who went to Podcast And Chill to speak about the time he was battling a gambling addiction and was down and out. It was Boity who helped him hence the reason she has a special place in his heart.
They were discussing the assault allegation against Bujy and said it was hurtful to witness.
“It’s sensitive, it's close to home. We know Bujy, he’s family on the podcast network. Boity holds a special place in my heart,” he said.
“When I was down and out, I reached out to her and she helped me. I remember my granny had just passed away and I was a mess at that time and I didn’t want my family to see me like that. No one in my family knew where I was, and I was renting a small place in town.
“I called because she had assisted me before when I was recovering and when I needed cash. I needed to look good for my grandmother’s funeral and she said no problem. She sent me R4k and I looked dapper,” he said adding that his family knew nothing about his problems.
Sol's co-host, MacG on the other hand has a personal vendetta against Boity and he said that celebrities have done nothing for him. At some point he offended her and said, "everyone has f***ked Boity."
“I don’t really care about what celebs think or what their opinions are because they were never there when I was broke. When I had to sell my house and move in with my woman into this one-bedroom apartment no one was there. No one was calling me and saying hey listen, are you okay? And the people that were the chillers.” Added Mac G. He did an interview with David Mashabela who said, “You do come across that way. I know with the Boity comment, you don’t seem to care much,” asked Mashabela. "But Boity does nothing for me. Boity adds no value in my life,” he answered.
