Cassper Nyovest has decided not to be part of this year's Maftown Heights event. The rapper, who made history after becoming the first South African artist to have a sold-out concert at the Ticket Pro Dome in Johannesburg, has been the talk of town since the historic event.

According to Sunday World, the rapper, who is on baecation with his girlfriend Boity, told event organisers that he's done supporting other people's events.

The annual music festival was co-founded by Khuli Chana and Refiloe Ramogase. Refiloe told Sunday World that there's no bad blood between them and Cassper. "As a festival it's our mission to unite the Motswako family under one umbrella, alongside the cream of South African hip hop music. As such, we reach out to and try to book as many acts from the Motswako fratenity as possible."

He said the final Motswako crew added to the line-up was based on those who were available. "Cassper's team indicated he was unavailable to perform at this year's event," he said.

However, Cassper has taken to Twitter to clear the air, and it looks like there might be some bad blood.
