Cassper Nyovest and Emtee are now on good terms

Both rappers have been going back and forth on twitter and taking jabs at each other, but it seems after their recent meeting, the feud is squashed and the waters are finally still.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE last month Emtee has expressed his frustrations about Cassper Nyovest saying that he had been taking jabs at him just to get likes.

“As a supposed big hommie he should be supporting me, but he’s always making jokes about me and acting like he is better so that he can get likes on social media. Is he a comedian or a rapper?” he said.

If it wasn’t jabs at him about his career, it was about Emtee using cannabis.

“...I have to smoke weed to be a rapper? Or I have to praise it to be a rapper? Well, I don’t smoke weed or think any high of it. Pun intended…” Cassper said in a tweet

In a recent tweet Cassper Nyovest confirms that he has apologized and is now in good terms with Emtee after meeting with him privately, Cassper also admitted that he was making fun of the rapper yet did not realize the effect it would have on Emtee.

Well now that the ‘beef’ is squashed, do not expect any collaborations from the two - as Emtee has said that he “will never work with him” - or expect any friendships from the two.

“Not to say it’s back to being buddies or working together but I apologized” Cassper tweeted

In positive news, this past weekend Cassper announced that he has officially sold 10 million records since his career began and he had to announce the news in Cassper Nyovest style.

And of course, Team Nyovest had to congratulate their favourite artist in style as well.

Congratulations to Cassper Nyovest and hopefully him and Emtee will collaborate on a song one day.
