To say that Cassper Nyovest, the award-winning rapper, is one of the most successful artists in the country is an understatement. The rapper/producer is definitely enjoying the success of his fifth album, Any Minute Now, a 21-track album that he released earlier in September. The chart-topping albums name was inspired by the anticipated birth of his first child, a baby boy with Thobeka Majozi.

His Egyptian Cotton single has been trending at number 4 since last night and the rapper doesn't know why he just appreciates that fans are appreciating his work.

"Dintsang kante ? What for the can to happen?"

This comes as no surprise to many who are hip hop fans, at the beginning of the month Cassper received the plaque for his single Amademoni featuring producer Tweezy. The collaboration between Tweezy and Cassper came as a bit of a surprise, as Tweezy has for many years worked with the rapper's rival AKA, producing some of his greatest hits.
Cassper even went on to share an image of his two plaques and the good news that his album is currently the bestselling album in the country at the time, across all genres.

"BOOM!!! #Amademoni certified gold & Good for that just went Platinum!!! #AnyMinuteNow is currently the best selling album in the country across all genres. Thank you so much to all the fans!!! I appreciate it a lot!!! Keep streaming!!!  #AmademoniGoesGold #GoodForThatGoesPlatinum,"

The album boasts a  long list of top tier features with the likes of U.S R&B singer Anthony Hamilton, Kwaito legend Zola, Samthing Soweto, Langa Mavuso, Tellaman, Youngsta CPT, Busiswa, Nadia Nakai and his homeboys from Mahikeng; Khuli Chana, Tuks, Momolemi, Towdee Mac, DJ Lemonka and the late HHP. Cassper Nyovest is really proud of his work and isn't afraid to say it.

“This album is everything to me, I have worked with the best of artists, they each brought their magic to this album. Zola is an iconic artist, I looked up to him as a young boy growing up in the North West, little did I know I would share the same studio and make magic with him. The biggest prize is my family, I am going to be a father and that is a huge blessing. I look forward to it…"

Tweeps were quick to remind him how great his album is and why they love Egyptian Cotton.

"It's because you taught us not to rush the process chasing another man's progress"
