Major League DJs wish to follow in the footsteps of one of their huge supporters Cassper Nyovest. The rapper was the first and still is the only artist to have filled up the Dome in the country, a major achievement to pull off, so are the DJs capable of pulling such?

The twin-duo has managed to rope in a few, if not many of their followers and supporters by just being good at what they do. Not much controversy has been on their backs and they have never been embroiled in any sort of drama, which is what most celebs feed off these days. They just pride themselves in releasing weekly mixes for their fans to enjoy, but if things go their way, those mixes might be enjoyed live at The Dome.

“Dreaming…. Balcony Mix Africa live at the DOME. Imaging the setup and production. Nothing but great music and culture.” They then asked fans for their opinions and to reply with fire emojis to show they support the DJ's dreams. Many took to the comments section to give a thumbs up to their request.

Their annual event, the Major League Gardens is also one of their big achievements and it is refreshing to see the duo dreaming big.

The duo recently paid respects to Amapiano saying the genre is fast growing so big brands should start putting money into it.

“Amapiano is doing crazy numbers across all platforms … iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube…the works. I wonder when brands will start putting money into this genre/ culture.. the sound is out of this world and it’s about to be the biggest sound to come out of Africa. Amapiano needs more partnerships and sponsors to export it amazing well to the world.”

They recently released a banger with Botswana born, South African musician Mpho Sebina called Dinaledi. It also has a touch of Amapiano so we see why they would want to grow the brand.

With that said, they were accused of not supporting or helping other artists in the industry reach the milestones they have reached. They clapped back at those claims saying their platform Major League Gardens is a way of showcasing new talent and they do so by not performing at their sets. They have been doing this for the past 8 years, “One interesting fact that … We have never ever played at a MAJOR LEAGUE GARDENS.. 8 years of its existence.. we have always put people before us..or given ppl our set times.. crazy to think of it,” the said. “Then you will have those that say Major League never puts on anyone.... SMH” the duo concluded.
