Wow! There are regular fans, and then there are Cassper Nyovest's fans.
The rapper, who has a massive following, recently visited a school in the hood and had learners go wild for him. His reaction? Well, Cassper seems to be having a hard time getting used to it all.
The Doc Shebeleza star posted a video, which clearly shows these young boys and girls shouting and screaming after seeing him. They totally lost their mind!
The short clip was captioned: "Visiting my dad's school in da hood to give a motivational speech and interact with the kids to spread some hope and this is what they did when they recognised my car. I don't think I'll ever get used to this. The smiles on their faces are priceless #Blessings."
Cassper probably gets this sort of reaction a lot, especially from his young fans. And that's not surprising at all because he is one of the country's biggest stars. The rapper, who cleaned up at the recent Metro FM Music Awards, is also dominating the list of nominees at this year's South African Music Awards (SAMAs). And, to show that he's got his priorities right, the rapper seems to be doing just fine despite being snubbed in the Record of the Year category.
After the nominees were announced on Friday (13 March), Cassper wrote on Twitter: "Just explain to us as to why we didn't make the cut... So that next year, we can work on that... I want to improve." He asked the SAMAs to clarify why he wasn't included. He added: " I want to understand and I am not alone.. I'm sure a lot of people are confused."
Now that's how you handle things, right? Being snubbed will surely not hurt Cassper, who's headed to Malawi for his tour this week.
