Following their kickass delivery to the ZAlebs office this past week, the team made their way to Joburg's Zoolake bowling club to find out exactly what the Castle Lite Ice Bar is and boy were we impressed.
Castle Lite has collaborated with KultureKollective, to create an Extra Cold city as they upgrade your summer. Yes, you heard right, a whole city. Upon entering the venue, we made our way through an ice cold tunnel only to emerge at the entrance of a pretty cool space (pun intended).
Thursday's media launch was an interactive experience that showcased the latest in music, fashion and sneaker spaces. Fans of the kulture and all things trendy, took advantage of the exclusive pieces while engaging with the coldest bar in Africa – #CASTLELITEICEBAR.
While out at the event, we spotted the likes of DJ Warras, Denise Zimba, Ayanda MVP, Dream Team, Nape Phasha, Larryngitis as well as Gigi Lamayne interacting with excitement as they experienced sub-zero temperatures.
We were also treated to the sickest music exhibition we've ever seen as the new school of hip hop took over the event's structures and turned them into stages before Riky Rick showed up to do what he does best.
Frank Casino and his friends presented a musical mashup as they performed on multiple stages around the venue all while interacting with the differently designed stages, making the experience an epic showpiece of a hip-hop playlist!
Are you wishing you were there yet? Well, we've got good news! The bar is open to the public from the 27th - 28th of October and Castle Lite has plans to take the experience to Durban and Cape Town over the next two months, so keep it locked to the Facebook page for all the info.
