Mzansi's favourite radio DJ's Euphonik and DJ Fresh, have acknowledged the Economic Freedom Fighters( EFF), for playing a huge role in assisting artists during these tough trying times with their relief fund.
The party recently announced that it will provide a financial boost for their artists who have been affected by a loss of income as gigs and events have been cancelled or postponed.
The party made a promise and delivered. Recently TV star Ntando Duma, posted a tweet that she received a bank notification for her relief fund.
DJ Euphonik took to Twitter to appreciate the party he wrote "Great work quietly being done by EFF SouthAfrica to help alleviate some of the pressure in the music industry. Thank you, guys."
DJ Fresh responded and said it may not be enough but it is better than nothing. The DJ also had to also school a tweep about the industry who said he thought SA celebs are rich.
DJ Fresh said a majority of artists in the country relies on gigs and they cannot even afford bonds because the payments are not constant or guaranteed.
