DJ Fresh took to Twitter to recall a time where he crossed the border just to be able to catch DJ Christo play at Club Gemini during apartheid.

The popular DJ responded to a tweet that asked, "who is your favourite DJ and how far did you travel to see them play?"
DJ Fresh then recalled how when he was 19/20 years old and with no drivers license took his father Mercedes "to go study on a Sunday night".
Unknown to DJ Fresh's father he wasn't actually going to study as he said but instead he was going to cross the border just to witness DJ Christos "bury Club Gemini".
Speaking of the experience the DJ says it was well worth driving through apartheid SA with no license.w
