Whenever you think of DJ Zinhle, Oskido should probably be one of the 5 people you first think of. Speaking highly of Zinhle, Oskido showered her with praises on MacG's podcast.
He spoke about all the people he used to work with and the people he lowered the ladder for back in the day. Those include DJ Tira, DJ Maphorisa, Heavy K, Zonke and of course DJ Zinhle.
MacG reminisced on the days he used to bring DJ Zinhle to studio when he was still working on radio at YFM. MacG said Zinhle was more of a tomboy and never wore make up. According to Oskido, when Zinhle met AKA, that is when she started to wear make up and look more of a girly girl.
"She was a tomboy that one. Zinhle only started putting makeup now. I think AKA is the one...I blame AKA, Zinhle did not used to like make-up. When she was dating AKA, suddenly she had a make up artist, how come," said Oskido who then laughed along with MacG.
Oskido then added that this was probably caused by the fact that Zinhle used to work at SAB with a lot of guys so that's why she probably was tomboyish.
Oskido also gave kudos to Zinhle for being a marketing genius as she worked as a promoter for SAB. When she started off she would book Oskido to play at events, and also used to hang out with Black Coffee and Zakes (Zakhele her eldest brother) and the others. That's how they developed a relationship as a friend and mentor. When Zinhle decided it was time to quit her job, where she was earning from about R15 000 - R18 000, she came to Oskido for advice.
"What do I do?" asked Zinhle to Oskido and then he said he advised her to just follow her dreams, and so she did, and the rest became history.
Oskido reckons that Zinhle's drive and passion for Deejaying is what made her to become the powerhouse that she is today.

DJ Zinhle also brought some positive change into Oskido's life as he said his life was disorganised at the time. She brought in a manager called Nomndeni who changed his life.
On her reality show, DJ Zinhle also spoke highly about Oskido and how he gave her R200 000 for her first pregnancy because he was very worried about her career. She was about to announce her second pregnancy to him so she took it back to the time when she told him about Kairo. βI feel like it's so tough to report to everyone that I am a fifty-thousand-year-old who's pregnant ... he was cool with me when I told him I was pregnant with Kairo, he even gave me money,β she said. βHe gave me a lot of money, it was about R200 000 when I told him I was pregnant. I think he was just worried,β she said.
MacG asked Zinhle about this and he did admit that he was a bit worried because the people in her DJing school were no longer paying that much, and she had a flat to maintain as well as cancel gigs for about 3 months which meant losing money.
