Shimza hosted his one-man show's lockdown edition last night, and as usual, the good homie did not disappoint. The show was hosted live from the iconic Nelson Mandela statue at the Union Buildings, and it paid tribute to the selfless sacrifices of the class of 1976, in fighting against systematic oppression.
Shimza aimed to raise R100K, for the Solidarity Fund, in aid of assisting South Africans impacted by COVID-19. The DJ has already raised more than 50 000, and the funds will also assist with food parcels and essentials, for affected people during these trying times.
His 2-hour special set, set the social media streets ablaze, as many celebrated him for his empowering philanthropic endeavors and for delivering a phenomenal show.
