The star owns a beautiful house in Fourways and had built it from scratch. On the show, Oskido was left in awe at her love for construction and her skillset. Zinhle revealed that if it wasn't for Oskido she would not have built such a mansion as he encouraged her to buy the land and start building.
Zinhle's home features four bedrooms - one with crown moulding, four bathrooms, a playroom for Kairo, a main lounge with a "badass" fire place, a TV room, a kitchen, a scullery, a pyjama lounge and some fancy light switches from what she called "the tattoo range."
Zinhle said that when you're a woman and you are the one building, people will show you flames. So it is better to have people especially men who can help you build a house.
"I learned that you need to get as many quotes possible for everything and also referrals are good cause when someone has built a house before and they know which suppliers are good it's easier to do things that way instead of working with people you have never worked with.
Zinhle revealed that she wants to build one more house with her baby daddy Bongani 'Murdah Bongz' Mohosana.
The Era By DJ Zinhle founder said she is a sucker for thrift shopping and shared tips on how to shop for cheap items and turn them into expensive luxury furniture pieces.
"I love going to thrift stores to buy furniture and repurpose it and make it new. My coffee table in the lounge I paid only R3000 for it but I'm sure now the market value for it is maybe R60 000 or R70 000," she said.
Another topic at hand was motherhood and she said she had to conquer her fears of balloons because she became a mother so she has to teach Kairo and Asante how to be fearless. "I can't be scared of balloons around Kairo, so you have to teach your kids to be fearless, so you have to conquer your own fears."
Oskido then warned Zinhle not to break the news of a third child to him but she said it is already tough to balance two kids. She said they now have to treat Kairo like a little baby because so much attention has been on Asante.
