DJ Zinhle has revealed how she lost her baby weight.
Zinhle says she was flooded with queries from fans after posting a picture of her amazing body on Instagram recently.
The 32-year-old, who gave birth to her daughter Kairo just six months ago, showed off her toned abs and thighs in the snap.
So how does she do it? Zinhle took to her blog, Moments by DJ Zinhle, to give fans some tips on how she got back into shape.
Zinhle’s says she is still three kilograms away from her pre-baby weight, and admits it took a lot of hard work.
“I need to be honest with you, there is no shortcut. There is no easy road. Anything worth having won’t come easy. The truth is, there is no secret," she said on her blog.
Err, no really, there must be a secret, Zinhle?
Nope, according to the DJ, there is no shortcut, just lots of hard work and determination.
Here’s how Zinhle toned up after giving birth:
1. Set a fitness goal and plan how to get there: “How much weight do you want to lose? Write that down, weigh yourself right now and start your journey. I would suggest you keep a journal.”
2. Five times a week in the gym: “I rise early, by 5 am I am at gym. I start my day with an hour workout.”
3. 20% exercise and 80% diet: “Exercise is great and bears results but if you are not eating right, you will not see the results. Your exercise program needs to be accompanied by a healthy and balanced diet if you want to see the results and lose weight. Exercise alone is not going to get you far.”
Zinhle added that she listens to motivational talks to stay positive on those days when she needs to get out of bed and off to the gym.
