As messages of condolence and tributes continue to pour in for multi-award-winning rapper and businessman Kiernan "AKA" Forbes' family, several celebrities have visited his family at his Brynston home to pay respect and offer condolences to his family. His baby mama DJ Zinhle, “Da L.E.S,” Oskido, and Kabelo Mabalane visited to pay respect to him.

AKA's death came as a shock on Friday evening. The rapper was shot dead outside the popular eatery Wish on Florida Road in Durban, alongside his friend, author Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
A video shared by Newzroom Afrika's Linda Mnisi on Twitter, shows several celebs visiting his home in Bryanston, Johannesburg, on Saturday. In the clip, His baby mama DJ Zinhle, is seen walking to the house accompanied by his friend Oskido.
Several Twitter users have dragged DJ Zinhle for visiting the rapper's house while wearing pants. Many asked why she was not wearing a skirt. "@NkagiM_ wrote "haibo they are going to AKA's home Zinhle wearing pants? men in T-shirts without jackets on? Gauteng funerals are so different."
AKA's family released an official statement on Saturday morning, confirming the death of the Congratulate hitmaker. The family asked for prayers while they grieve his loss.
“It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved son, and confirm his untimely and tragic passing on the evening of February 10, 2023.”
“Our son was loved and he gave love in return. In this time of grief we appeal for your compassion, space and time to congregate as family to decide on the upcoming days. We thank you for the love and support we have received thus far, and ask you to continue to keep us in your prayers and uplifted in the Lord."
