It’s always a great feeling to see our very own doing great things abroad, especially if it involves entertainment. After all cracking the international market is never an easy task for us South Africans. However, it seems like talents such as the likes of Candice Pillay are doing just fine.

Candice Pillay’s name began gaining momentum when many South African’s learned that she had worked on Dr Dre’s latest music project, Compton for the movie Straight Outta Compton.

Since then, there has been no stopping this talented lady who resides in L.A but is originally from Pietermaritzburg in KZN.

Candice who features on the Compton album has officially received a stamp of approval from the music doctor himself.

Here’s a video of Dr Dre praising Candice’s talents:

Even rapper Reason was in awe of Candice, although we're not sure if he was admiring her talents or her looks.

And in light of Heritage Day in South Africa it seems like Candice will be dedicating her latest video Party 4 da low to African culture and everything that is traditional. Candice has released her new E.P The High on iTunes.
