Just when we thought the bad times had passed, another icon gets caught in the grips of death.ย
When the year is over and one looks back on what kind of year it was, one wouldn't be blamed for saying it's been one filled with huge losses for South Africa, especially in the arts. The latest icon to fall victim to death's hasty grip is jazz musician, Dr. Philip Tabane who passed away due to an age related illness.
