Duncan recently trended on social media after he released a fiery diss track titled Big Ndunu. He was responding to Big Zulu's diss track that targeted his career.
Announcing that he is officially off the market, the rapper shared a series of pictures giving his fans a look into the lobola negotiations. Duncan showered his in-laws with gifs and it was a beautiful sight to see. In one of the pictures, we can see his wife kneeling down whilst giving him umqombothi.
Nosipho looked drop-dead gorgeous in a traditional makoti attire. Fans took to the comments section to praise him for doing the right thing.
Another one of our faves who recently paid lobola is Murdah Bongz. Zinhle shared this one the first episode of season one of Zinhle The Unexpected.
In a scene showing the wedding and lobola proceedings DJ Zinhe is heard saying Bongani “wants to be served husband, he doesn’t want to be called boyfriend anymore.”
She continued: “There’s been a lot of changes since you guys last saw us. Bongani and his family came to my mom’s house to negotiate Indaba ya ma lobola. We decided that it should be a small thing with his family and Bongz’ family.”
Zinhle admitted to previously never having ambitions of getting married. “I never felt like I was with anyone that I wanted to marry but Bongani and I spent a lot of time talking about it and thinking about what we want to do. I’m excited to be his wife.
On the latest episode of the BET series now in its second season, she revealed that they are building a house together. Zinhle said they cut down on a lot of things to construct the house.
"Bongani and I have a goal, we want to build a house and for us to build a house we understand how much work it is going to take,” she said. “Let’s make sure this house is fully paid for by the time we are done. I don’t want to take any loans. So, you’re splurging on clothes…” she continued waiting for Murdah to add to her statement.
Zinhle noted how determined Murdah is when it comes to finishing the house. Even mentioned that he has reduced his travel costs in order to save money.
“He’s so determined for this house that he’s not even traveling with the team, he is traveling alone. So that he can save money,” she said speaking to the camera.
