Fikile Moeti, aka ‘FIX’, made MTV history when she became the first female VJ on networks’ African music television channel. Now she is making her mark in the sporting scene!

Fix is no stranger to pushing herself to the limit. She represented the South Africa Ladies Water Polo team, took part in the 2012 Bela Bela Triathlon, and recently completed her first Ironman. But, this bubbly and bright radio personality has set her sights on a new goal, swimming the 2013 Midmar Mile!

The Midmar Race weekend is set to take place this coming weekend, 9/10th February and according to the Midmar Mile website, promises to showcase some of SA’s greatest swimming potential.

Fix will be swimming in the Non-Company Teams category, which sets off at 11am on Saturday, 9th February. Her team is sponsored by I Play Fair, which promotes ‘Say No To Drugs’.

Fix is the epitome of hard work and dedication and has proven that no sporting goal is too small or too big to achieve.

Follow both Fix’s and 4Elements twitter pages to track her progress and build up to the event, as well as her performance on the day.

Good luck Fix!
