Hulisani Ravele has been trending on Twitter because her legions of supporters are rallying for her to bag a major hosting gig. The media personality is not new to the presenting business because her rise to fame started off with her presenting on kiddies shows like YoTV back in the late 2000's.

With the industry not being as inclusive as some might like it to be, many feel as though including Hulisani as the host of this year's SAFTA's 15, then that vision could be closer to achieving. With that said, #HulisaniMustHostSaftas15 started trending and gaining momentum. This was all started when Hulisani commented under their post announcing this new changer. She rallied for herself first saying she has been in the game for a solid 24 years however has never hosted the event. "Whoever gets this tender, please find me when you're looking for a host! 24 years in the game and never hosted the SAFTAs!? Imagine!"
Then entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, who just started his very own online mini-series called Entertainment Alert, where he reports on current trending topics, said Hulisani Ravele would fit perfectly.
"SAFTAs are looking to appoint a new production company to take over production of the ceremony this year. Just one thing for me ... itβs time the event becomes diverse. I fully support #HulisaniMustHostSaftas15. Join me in getting this attention. Letβs get Hulisani the gig.
"For the record, by diverse I donβt mean her being Venda. I just mean aesthetic. Love the ladies who have been getting the gigs to host our major awards. I just think the awards could use a diff type of celeb. Hulisani would bring that fresh approach," he said giving her his vote of confidence.
Agreeing with him were tweeps saying they are excited for this change as the same faces are always recycled on television, "I agree @HulisaniRavele
would do an amazing job Iβm so tired of seeing the same old faces recycled itβs time for some change."
Another wrote, "She deserves it indeed and has my full support as well." A sceptical tweep said the opportunity should be given to a company who already has experience with such events, "The people who do Idols & Miss SA should get the opportunity. They know live production! Itβs the red carpet that needs a cow to be slaughtered first before we can ever get it right."
Hulisani thanked each and every person behind her, "Here I was, just manifesting out loud in my lane to host the next, @SAFTAS1, kanti there are others manifesting for and with me, when they don't even have to. What kind of love is this one!?! 'm humbly wowed."
