Reportedly, Moja LOVE has fired Jub Jub over foul language that he used while addressing another partner business partner back in December. After Jub Jub has already lawyered up against the channel for unpaid salary, Moja LOVE has finally decided to let Jub Jub go.
According to Sunday World, Jub Jub was fired shortly after the channel was slapped with lawyers following his outstanding January salary. The channel withheld his salary due an incident that took place in December where Jub Jub used swear words when addressing Keabetswa Mokoena.
"Sunday World can reveal that Moja Love, which airs the popular show, kicked Jub Jub to the kerb a few days after he sent the channel a letter from his lawyer, Terrence Baloyi, from Baloyi-Ntsako Attorneys, demanding payment of his January salary. The channel withheld Jub Jub’s January salary after he cocked a snook at the channel’s demand for him to publicly apologise to business partner Keabetswe Mokoena, who he allegedly insulted with her mother’s private parts and hurled other profanities at her." reports the publication
Following failed requests for Uyajola 9.9 presenter to apologize for the misconduct, the channel found its hands tied up. Instead of issuing a public apology, Jub Jub sent lawyers to the channel for his outstanding January salary.
Which according to the publication, the channel was somehow punishing Jub Jub for hurling insults at his female business partner, Keabetswe Mokoena, in an incident that took place in last year.
The Ndikhokhele hitmaker and Keabetswe had a heated exchange on Whatsapp where Jub Jub allegedly called Mokoena's mom derogatory names. Apparently, things turned messy after the government hired the two to organize the Moses Kotane Arts Festival at the Moruleng Stadium, which was supposed to take place from 3 to 4 December 2022.
Jub Jub's dismissal was revealed by a source that is close to him. Surrounding him being booted by the channel, the source also mentioned that when the decision to let Jub Jub out of the door, another incident was considered where he confronted Mokoena's acquaintance at OR Tambo International Airport.
“The CEO [Aubrey Tau] has an obligation to protect the integrity and reputation of the business. Jub Jub is a good presenter but he is not bigger than the brand Moja Love. Jub Jub had, in a desperate bid to get his job back, ambushed a senior traditional leader who was with Mokoena at the OR Tambo International Airport recently and implored him to ask Tau to extend an olive branch to him. But the CEO would have none of it and made it clear that he would not reinstate him unless he issues a public apology to Mokoena,” revealed the source.
