Kabza is not looking to dim his light just so other artists shine.
He is the first recording artist in South Africa to have all 26 songs in his album, I Am The King Of Amapiano: Sweet and Dust, dominate the top 30 Apple music charts ever. That is something to definitely brag about. However, him celebrating his achievements for many seems as though he is putting himself on a pedestal he does not deserve.
Kabza is well within his rights to brag about his achievements and he took to Instagram to remind people of that.
"I won’t be apologetic for working hard and for achieving what I’ve achieved. I never said I was better than anyone. I never lowered anyone for doing his best in the game," he said.
With the success, comes the hate and Kabza says he has developed a thick skin. He encouraged his fans to do the same.
"Through the hard work, I’ve put in so many years and I’m finally enjoying the fruits of success. People will always talk whether you do good and bad. Just don’t lose focus," he advised.
