Losing Lerato Bags Another International Award

The local South African film Losing Lerato has done it again! The film grossed millions at the local box office, now the film has gone international once again by winning the best Screenplay at Rams International Festival in the UK.

The success of this star-studded movie is all thanks to actor Kagiso Modupe who produced this movie from his own pocket.

Hailed for it's authenticity and great story line, the movie tells a compelling story of a successful father who loses access to his child after his divorce. He then decides to kidnap his daughter from school out of frustration.

The local hit film was also nominated for 6 awards at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema in California. They went all the way to California despite the pandemic to fetch their 6 wins as they scooped all the awards.
