Season five of Mzansi Magic’s The Queen seems as though it will be a very lit one with all the new all-star additions.
According to a report by Sunday World, Kenneth will be playing the role of a new cop replacing actor Mlamli Mangcala whose contract recently came to an end.
“With Jerry’s funeral coming up soon, Nkosi’s character is slowly introduced to the show as the new cop in town replacing Captain Sthembiso Radebe,” a source told the publication.
Kenneth has been out of the spotlight after common assault charges against him were dropped by the National Prosecuting Authority.
Mzansi Magic publicist Vuyiswa Dlodlo (CORR) confirmed to Sunday World, that the comedian would be joining the cast but did not provide details about his role.
“We are excited that one of the channel’s most loved telenovelas is set to feature South African legends as they showcase their craft and add even greater authenticity and flavour to the story,” said Dlodlo.
Mlamli, last month announced that he has left the drama series and made some startling accusations against The Fergusons saying that they were paying him a very small salary. The Fergusons refuted his claims and denied any wrongdoing on their part.
