She said, "Story of Mall of Africa...particularly a certain sports shop that sells sneakers. I actually made a thread about this when I had an incident there... and others corroborated  my experience. Very sophisticated ring of people working together. I agree...be warned!!! #MallofAfrica"

This comes after a lady detailed how she was robbed and all her money taken in all her of her accounts including savings account.

She said,
The lady has however been accused of also stealing an iPhone at iStore at the same mall.
Some people are adamant that the lady is making all of this up. Some are saying that there is no way she was not able to get help at an Istore. These were some of the reactions:

Another tweep that was comforting the lady caught some smoke when people found some holes in her story.

The tweep said, "Im so sorry this happened to you! Mall of Africa is the bottom I swear to God! In 2017 I got Scammed on Black Friday, they took 3 iPhones, 7k cash and swiped 18k at Louis Vuitton in MOA. To this day the cops are “investigating” Took me sometime to heal but I promise you will"
In other scamming news, just 6 months ago,
DJ Maphorisa was accused of being a scammer by a record label owner by the name of Letty Mncube. The amapiano pioneer apparently promised Letty some PR work for two up coming artists, but Phori never delivered on his promise, after getting paid.

Daily Sun reported that Letty approached them in order to get Maphorisa to pay up the R3 500 he owes the record label owner. During their negotiating stage, Letty revealed that Phori charges R48 000 and this is for the two artists to record their music and also get their music to trend on social media, get booked for gigs. He would do this by promoting their work on his social media so his following can get to know about them.

All of this for 48K, but Letty said she did not have the money so she and Phori agreed to a deposit of R1 500. After paying the deposit, she then paid instalments which amounted to R3 500. “I ended up paying R3 500. I became suspicious when he failed to post my artists on his social media page. On the day we were supposed to meet he didn’t pick up my calls,” she told the publication.

Months ago, Maphorisa and his artists also survived a murder attempt and the reason is still unknown. He got out of hiding after the shooting incident which left two of his artists in ICU.

Sunday World revealed that the two musos had a hit ordered against them on the 8th of February and they dogged a hail of bullets, coming from an Audi A4. On that Monday night, two gunmen fired at the DJ's Mercedes-Benz tour bus in East Rand.
