I was at Mall of Africa shopping on Thursday 23 September 2021. My cellphone was in my hand the entire time until, I needed to look for a specific item inside the store.
Not your influencer writing a thread about getting her phone stolen where as she is the one who stole a phone in mall of Africa 😭😭

There is a lot about that story that doesn't make sense also, more especially because we talking about an iPhone. Once you start interrogating it you will see the loopholes. Kodwa keh.

Another tweep that was comforting the lady caught some smoke when people found some holes in her story.
The tweep said, "Im so sorry this happened to you! Mall of Africa is the bottom I swear to God! In 2017 I got Scammed on Black Friday, they took 3 iPhones, 7k cash and swiped 18k at Louis Vuitton in MOA. To this day the cops are “investigating” Took me sometime to heal but I promise you will"

After fighting with them they refunded me 9k 🥲 Just so they could close the case, I was really chasing them nyan! The 9k was more of a “hopefully she will leave us alone” vibe coz from the jump they said it’s not their fault I got scammed… it was very very sucky…

...but they have a way of either distracting you or getting someone from inside to assist them. Hacking a phone right there and there is extremely difficult and requires special equipment and time. The problem is people don't take time to understand technology they use nd I blame

Daily Sun reported that Letty approached them in order to get Maphorisa to pay up the R3 500 he owes the record label owner. During their negotiating stage, Letty revealed that Phori charges R48 000 and this is for the two artists to record their music and also get their music to trend on social media, get booked for gigs. He would do this by promoting their work on his social media so his following can get to know about them.
All of this for 48K, but Letty said she did not have the money so she and Phori agreed to a deposit of R1 500. After paying the deposit, she then paid instalments which amounted to R3 500. “I ended up paying R3 500. I became suspicious when he failed to post my artists on his social media page. On the day we were supposed to meet he didn’t pick up my calls,” she told the publication.
Months ago, Maphorisa and his artists also survived a murder attempt and the reason is still unknown. He got out of hiding after the shooting incident which left two of his artists in ICU.
Sunday World revealed that the two musos had a hit ordered against them on the 8th of February and they dogged a hail of bullets, coming from an Audi A4. On that Monday night, two gunmen fired at the DJ's Mercedes-Benz tour bus in East Rand.
