The self proclaimed Motswako Originator, also known as Khuli Chana, is set to open up the industry to the up and coming artists of Mzansi. The rapper and producer, took to social media to announce some exciting news for those who are looking for opportunity in the music industry.
Khuli hopes to change as many musician's lives as possible with this amazing initiative, much like how his late mentor HHP changed his life and those of many other young musicians in the North West. Chana shared with Briefly that he is taking a page out of the Motswako Legend's page.
Khuli gets lost in nostalgia when he remembers how much HHP supported the group, Morafe, and basically helped them build their career. "HHP supported Morafe unconditionally and even surprised us by jumping on stage with them during performances - boosting our reputation massively." shares Khuli.

Now, the student that is Khuli Chana wants to be the teacher and hopes to reach those that want someone to believe in them. Khuli is paying it forward and is speaking up about what every upcoming artists needs to know. He's kicking off his new duties with an event at the Old Mutual sponsored creative hub with legendary musician Sipho "Hotsticks" Mabuse earlier today in conjunction with Metro FM. Chana believes this is his gift to the new generation of artists in South Africa.
Nothing better than one of our favourites, giving back to the people. But we also know the fans are waiting for some music! Khuli has teased that he is working an album that will be out later this year.
