While many came to know her as Zanele on Jacob's Cross, South African TV fans find it hard to distinguish actress, Mampho Brescia, from her Isibaya character, Iris Zungu.
However, those who have had the pleasure of spending time around her can attest to the fact that there is so much more to the effervescent Brescia than meets the eye. She proves this last night when she surprised guests at the 'Slow - In The City' launch in Sandton when she took to the stage at the end of the evening for a performance.
Lovers of all things food and lifestyle related were invited to meet on a Sandton rooftop where we were whisked to a secret location in a smooth chauffeur driven limo ride before being treated to a variety of food and drinks to introduce #CourseAtSlow - the luxurious venue's menu for the upcoming season.
More than just a dining space, Slow In The City is described as a "time and space for extremely busy people" where "busy can be separated from rushed, where demands don't have to be accompanied by stress and where thoughts can flow without interruptions."
Slow In the City offers a number of services and facilities fit for the busiest of people such as meeting rooms, lockers, a shower facility, video conference facilities, printing, internet access and Wi-Fi, to name a few.
