Muvhango's Maumela Mahuwa launches a film school

Our country is filled with a large number of talented writers and filmmakers who are just waiting for that opportunity to be recognized.

One actress who has created an institution to help these aspiring filmmakers and writers, is Maumela Mahuwa, who is famously known for her role as Suzan Mukwhevho.

Maumela has confirmed that throughout the years she has been working on a vision to create a film school for aspiring youths who dream to work in the local film industry.

Together with her team, Maumela has created the African Academy of Cinematic Arts which focuses on teaching and training the next generation of filmmakers.

The academy is said to be located in the heart of Johannesburg and is already open for applicants.

The actress, officially released a promo video on her Instagram account about the academy and by the looks of this video this is undoubtedly the perfect opportunity for all you aspiring filmmakers out there.
