The former YoTV presenter and producer Merica Monamodi is on a mission to travel to 30 countries before turning 30 years old.

Merica is currently in Egypt having the best time of her life. She has taken her fans along and given them a sneak peek inside her world tour.
Merica has been in countries such as China, South Korea, Dubai, and several other African countries.
A few weeks ago, Merica also returned her fans' favourate BOATS on Her YouTube channel. BOATS sees Merica and her best friends exploring Mzansi's popular holiday destinations such as Cape Town.
Her squad includes the DSTV Mzansi's Viewers Choice Awards nominee Langa Mavuso.
Langa has also been doing well for himself. A few months ago, he scored himself a new home and got signed to Dream Team Africa.
Speaking to IOL about the new chapter in his life, he said: "I’m excited to be joining Dream Team Africa. They have done incredible work in the past with artists that I respect and love.
"My hope is to create impactful and healing work that reaches multitudes around the globe while representing the continent through music and art. I’m excited to execute some wild dreams and reach new heights. We are building something so special together,” he said.
Meanwhile, Merica announced a few days ago that she lost her brother in a tragic incident. Opening up on her YouTube channel, She revealed that her brother drowned during their family vacation.
The TV star has since also opened up the sad news on her social media platforms.
Taking to the comments section, fans reflected on the relationship that Merica had with her brother. LoloyisoM1 wrote: "Askies Merica I recently watched your farewell vlog, your friends were communicating/organising with your Billy. Condolences to your family and the wife tjooo>"
Merica debut her TV career back in 2008 when she joined the popular SABC 1's kids show 'YOTV.' She has also appeared and presented on several Mzansi top shows including the DVD for the Smart Young Mindz 2012 competition and Mzansi Insider alongside Rorisang Thandekiso.
In 2019, Merica took a career turn and traveled to South Korea to teach English. She revealed on her YouTube Chanel that moving to South Korea was one of her best decisions.
"What I like about working abroad is that I’m earning 35k...I don’t have to pay rent, petrol, car installments, cellphone expenses, etc. When I get paid, that money is all mine. We get to travel easily. The best decision I've ever made shame."
