Following her exit from Homeground on Mzansi Magic, Minnie Dlamini reveals that she could be making her television comeback very soon.

She teased that a new character is loading named Lu.

“Going back to your roots.. those who know, know. Your ancestors would be proud Minnie,” said an excited Nandi Madida.
Minnie Dlamini recently bid farewell to the cast and crew of Homeground.

She hosted the show alongside Lungile Radu.

Minnie shared the sad news on her social media pages.

“After 5 years our show is coming to an end. Don’t forget to tune in to our last episode next week Monday.”

Minnie also gave a shout-out to everyone who made this possible.

“This is my @supersporttv /#Homeground family I’ve worked with these guys and girls and many others that aren’t in this pic for over 5 years. It’s been such a pleasure and a show that broke all boundaries in SA entertainment."

"Most of the people in this pic work tirelessly behind the scenes to make us look good on air. I could never have done this without each and every one of you and I can’t wait for when we get to work together again. I love you all deeply. Thank you for the memories and for making magic on screen every week. Onwards and upwards. "

"It's more than just planning a wedding, it's about understanding the emotions. I went crazy. I cried up until the day before my wedding," she tells Anele.

"Crying about stress - is everything going to work out? Are things going to happen the way that you want them to happen?

In 2018 Minnie sat down for an exclusive interview with Anele Mdoda on Real Talk.

She told Anele that was raining on her wedding day.

"It had rained a few minutes before I walked down the aisle. It was slippery. My veil was actually sticking to the ground after my dress. Every time I walked it was pulling me back and falling off.

"The most amazing thing about it is I was literally in the car before I walked down the aisle. When I walked out of the car the rain stopped. The clouds cleared, the sun came out and you saw a rainbow," shared.

Minnie revealed that they didn’t go for marriage counseling which has gone against them.

"We didn't go for counseling before we got married. Maybe it's something we'll have to go to. With the show and producing, we actually didn't go to counseling.

"But, I also believe we have a different kind of relationship. We were best friends for many many years, so our communication is very intense. I speak to him like I speak to my best friend and therefore there are a lot of things that new couples who are about to get married are still trying to figure each other out. We've known each other for many years," she explained.

At her Umembeso her elders sat her down. "It was understood that this position came with a lot of responsibility. Now I'm no longer just Minnie Dlamini, I am now Mrs Jones. Now I no longer represent the Dlamini family but I represent a new branch. And everything I do and everything I saw has consequences to those people.”
