Nandi Mngoma has changed the game, y’all. And no, that’s not just our opinion, it seems. The singer, who recently dropped her Dance single with Zakes Bantwini, will be recognised for being a trendsetter, influencer and a leader of pop culture.
Wow! She shared the great news on Instagram, where she wrote: “All I ever wanted to achieve amongst other things.. Is for African young ladies and grown women to embrace who they are aesthetically and internally. To pride themselves of their continent, whether it be natural hair, their skin etc. and essentially love who they are.”
And boy, did she change the game. Her ‘natural hair movement’ has been joined by many young South Africans. Some of her fans have also told her that she’s been a great inspiration to them.
