Nomzamo Mbatha has transcended just being a South African actress and media personality. Currently, the former Isibaya lead actress is paving her own way in Los Angeles as she has confirmed that she is now also a resident of The City of Angels.
While most of our fave ZAlebs were travelling to Cape Town for their end of year/ beginning of the New Year holidays, Nomzamo Mbatha was one of the few that opted for an international holiday instead. This is as she shared that she and friend and business partner, Nondumiso Mkhwazani, had taken a girls trip to Bali, Indonesia.
Her first post was Mbatha detailing the comical welcome she received after she had lied to the staff at the resort they were staying at by stating that it was her birthday. Mbatha in her caption shares that:
“My birthday is in July. But I have a feeling this is what my life will look like for this season. Unexpected blessings, celebrating some wins and an explosion of deep joy. My happiness will no longer be attached to an end result nor will the worth of self. It’s Gratitude in overflow from Here on folks!
Yesterday during brunch we told our waiter it was my birthday and boom, this surprise happened. Happy New Year everyone, do not look at how much of the wall you still have to build, just pick up one brick at a time and make that count. It all adds up in the end, so long as you choose to show up for that little life and strengthen up with each punch you load. Here’s to the overflow. Look inwards.”
From the comical, Mbatha than shared her travel chronicles by sharing her subsequent post, which read:
“Changed 3 times. First I was boiling hot (weather is very humid here) then I was soaked from the waterfall, lost my shoes because I walk barefoot a lot (my fault), got them back (had to drive back to the venue, to get em) and all was restored!
Her most recent post was a promotional post as Mbatha continues her successful collaboration as the ambassador for PUMA South Africa. A post where she shared how she believes she is not at her peak physical body, which she is planning to work on in 2023.
