Media personality Phumeza Mdabe has shared an inspiring video of her blind son learning how to perfect riding a bicycle.
She and her husband, musician Shota, have always been vocal about their journey with their son Mpilo, who is a cancer suvivor. He was reportedly diagnosed with cancer in 2015.
Now, their son who has fought a winning battle against cancer has mastered riding the bicycle.
The family remains an inspiration to many families with children who are diagnosed with cancer. Her latest video had people taking to her comments section to express how his milestone has left them inspired. Assuring many that anything is possible.
The TV presenter could not withhold her excitement as she shared the video on Instagram to show the world that she is a proud mother. Learning how to ride a bike for many parents might seem like a normal achievement, but for the proud mother she is elated.
"We are so proud of you Mpilo. Its a normal achievement for parents with able kids to be able to learn to ride a bike. For Mpilo, because he is blind,he needs to make sure he is safe, takes his time but his spirit amazes us everyday. Akathandi uhluleka. He knows his way around the house so he knows how much distance hes got. You would think he can see." she wrote.
