Rihanna is back with a new single titled 'lift me up'. This is the first body of solo music she has released in 6 years. Now, fans can finally rest after eagerly waiting for new music for years. The last album the mogul and singer released was Anti in 2016.

The song is the lead single on the soundtrack for the sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It is also a tribute to the late Chadwick Boesman, who portrayed Black Panther in the Marvel Blockbuster.

Lift me up released ahead of the anticipated sequel which will only premiere in cinemas on the 11th November.

Lift me up was cowritten with one to watch Nigerian singer, Tems (Temilade Openiyi) as well as Ludwig Goransson and Ryan Coogler.

The new single is out and fans are here for it while some were expecting a sound similar to her tracks that became popular club anthems like 'Work it' and 'Needed Me'
