Instagram has started The Versus Instagram Live and has featured different musicians from different places. It has featured RZA vs. DJ Premier, T-Pain vs. Lil Jon, French Montana vs. Tory Lanez, and Mannie Fresh vs. Scott Storch, Wizkid v Vybz Kartel and many more artists.
The most recent battle was between Erykah Badu vs Jill Scoot where they were sharing plenty of memorable and entertaining moments through their musical journeys.

The duo managed to have over 700 000 live views, some of the figures who joined the streamer are Michelle Obama, Timberland and many more.

Following this being the first female musician battle, Sho Madjozi has sent a request for a battle to be between Simphiwe Dana and Thandiswa Mazwai.
The duo is among South Africa's music legends who have lived through different stages of Afro-soul and Jazz through their beautiful voices.

Simphiwe Dana’s discography is utterly mind-blowing as she has been making timeless music for over 18 years and goes back to her first album, Zandisile released in 2004.

Thandiswa Mazwai’s discography dates back to 1996 with her first album, Leaders of D’Gon. It was followed by The Concerto in 1997 and sold double platinum in 1998.

The duo has worked with both continental and international artists. They attributed their work to some of South Africa’s legends including Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Busi Mhlongo and many more.

Preserving the history of South African music, the battle would have the two music giants warm the hearts of many South Africans through sharing their musical journeys through their all-time personal hits.

Simphiwe Dana is in, the only response left is from the songwriter, Thandiswa Mazwai and it's a date to bless their fans throughout the world with musical experiences and songs that they love dearly to be on their playlist.
