Following the social media backlash after the news that actor Sello Sebotsane will be joining Scandal! Sebotsane is the alleged abuser and ex husband of actress Shoki Mmola, who recently joined, Scandal!
Social media is outraged following the news that Sello Sebotsane will be joining Etv's most loved and watched, Scandal!. The outrage comes about as Sebotsane is an alleged abuser and ex husband of actress Shoki Mmola, who is also with Scandal! Viewers are ready to boycott Scandal! as it appears that they have turned a blind eye on issues pertaining Gender-Based Violence and women abuse as a whole.
However, Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela has been in touch with the show, following their decision of bringing Sebotsane on the same space as her ex wife. In the past, Mmola have gravely spoken on the abuse that she suffered from her ex husband, Sello Sebotsane. Mphela insert that Scandal! has revealed that Mmola is currently not shooting, which implies that chances where the pair could run into each are highly unlikely.

Evidently, outraged tweeps have not taken the news lying down as they have proceeded to slam Scandal! for purposefully turning a blind eye on Gender-Based Violence. Whether both Sebatsone and Mmola will not be running in the same circles while on set. However, angered viewers feel as thought the mere fact of knowing that you are working closely with your alleged abuser is far more traumatic, where Mmola is concerned.
