Simphiwe took to Instagram to share her before and after pictures and wow, we are seriously impressed. Sis worked very hard. She said, "Picture on the left was taken two weeks ago, the one on the right was taken in April this year. Let me tell you, losing weight after giving birth is the hardest thing ever.
"I was hungry all the time after giving birth so I ate a lot, I was also tired most of the time so I’d try workout every now and then but definitely wasn’t consistent. I really struggled. @mrsmome.m if they don’t tell you, I will tell you! @momewellnesslivin is the best.
"Even with my inconsistency with working out, your products still helped me lose weight. I am so impressed. Rise black woman. One thing about me, I don’t promote products that don’t work🤞🏾 this!!! Well done @momewellnesslivin"
Simphiwe is not the first mom to let us in on her struggles with shedding that extra weight. Musician Brenda Mtambo told us four days ago how far she has come with her weight. She said, "Yesterday I came across this pic of myself and realised how far I have come with weight loss journey, there are many factors that contributed to me gaining so much weight but I am glad I am here.
"Many life changing decisions I had to make but @mrsmome.m was my best motivator in terms of not only focusing on losing weight but living a healthier lifestyle from the inside out which made me take her products while I was going to gym.
I keep telling my friends I feel like I am actually breathing easy now. The @momewellnesslivin has helped me a lot over the year and obviously gym and eating right. Starting gym again this morning pray for me , I am far from reaching my goal but thank God I am not where I use to be. Take care of your mental health. Much love ❤️"
Another ZAleb that has opened up about weight loss following the birth of their baby is Skeem Saam's Pebetsi Matlaila. She also took to Instagram to share her story. She said, "To those who have enquired about my slimmer looking frame and those secretively wondering....Well know that My weight loss journey is still on and thus far has been very challenging.
As a new mother, most of my time my attention goes to the infant , with little or no time to exercise . To start my journey I had to also consider which product to consume that wont interfere with breastfeeding and the health of the baby . I still had to eat for breast milk enrichment.
BUT I found the Momewellness products to make things easier. I joined the Momewellnes winter challenge in June and I can say today I feel and look lighter. I went from 85kg to 75kg. With no exercise, but just the random walks around the complex with the baby, the Slim fit tonic coupled with liters of water and cups of the moringa soup helped me to loose some belly fat and weight , as a result gaining confidence"
