Somizi Confirms Release Date For New Cookbook

The star-studded launch took place last night in Johannesburg, and it was attended by the who's who of Mzansi's showbiz including the likes of Mihlali Ndamase, MaMkhize, Rami Chuene, Tha Simelane, and Lorna Maseko.

Somizi recently announced that his cookbook was done and dusted and said the release date will be announced in less than two weeks, and he has delivered his promise.

"Finally, I am excited to tell you that my book is finally complete. Done, signed, sealed, and can be delivered to you. The book is not released yet but soon to be released in less than two weeks. You've got an opportunity to pre-order. Go to CNA's website, I would love to break records. But I cannot break records without you," said Somizi.

The book is inspired by Somizi's cooking show Dinner at Somizi's, and those who pre-order the book stand a chance to win lots of amazing prizes.

"Dinner At Somizi's: I Am Not A Chef, that the title of the book. It is available in all the CNA's across the border. Here's a difference between you ordering now and later. The book is still the same, the price is R295. The difference is that you stand a chance to win an all-expenses-paid experience to the launch of the book. You'll be the first person to get a signed book, a picture with Somizi."

The TV host said his book will be available in-store on the 3rd of December 2020, and it is selling at R295 per copy.

His hubby Mohale Motaung also attended the launch to support his hubby and he brought him flowers. The couple recently hogged the headlines after it was reported that they were going through a rough patch in their relationship, but it seems all is well now.

Sharing the cover of the book recently, the Metro FM co-host revealed that the first day of pre-order sales was way more than he had anticipated.

"Judging by the first day of pre-order sales yesterday I'm confident that we are going to break the records.....thanks to everyone who has pre-ordered and apologies to those that encountered problems ....the system nearly crashed....to everyone who hasn't placed their orders lets go we still have a bit of time but I'd advise u do it asap coz there's a limited number of the first batch."

Congratulations Somizi.
