The Bloemfontein Magistrates Court has adjourned following Thabo Bester's appearance, where he was facing a charge of escaping a lawful custody. Both Bester and girlfriend Dr Nandipha Mugudumana arrived at the wee hours of the morning yesterday after they were apprehended in Tanzania, last week.
Following the reports by the Minister of Home Affairs Dr Aaron Motsoaledi that suggests that Thabo Bester is a South African by birth but he is not registered with the Department of Home Affairs.

The confusion that has clouded a handful of people is how did Bester managed to register to a tertiary institution (Damelin), opened a bank account, bought cars and obtained a driving license without a valid South African Identity Document.

However, journalist and radio host Xoli Mngambi further explained that even though the Bester does not have a valid South Africa Identity Document. But the Thabo Bester belong to him as a convicted rapist and murderer.
