Ntsiki Mazwai Wishes Thandiswa Mazwai A Happy Birthday

Thandiswa “King Tha” Mazwai is a certified legend. This is as she not only was part of the group of artists who pioneered the sound of Kwaito in South Africa through her band Bongo Maffin. But as a solo artist, the spiritually inclined singer-songwriter is behind some of the most iconic albums released in the 2010s and 2000s.

As such, it is a surprise that on Friday, 31 March 2023, when King Tha celebrates her 47th birthday, she did not trend at all. However, some of her loved ones did take the time to use their social media platforms to wish her well on her special day.

Ntiki Mazwai is the second eldest of the Mazwai sisters with Thandiswa being the eldest. The two have had their ups and downs publicly. However, the two siblings seem to have mended their fences and are closer than ever today. As such, it came as no surprise that Ntsiki took to Twitter to wish her sister a happy birthday.

Another close friend to wish Thandiswa a happy birthday was Msaki. This is as she returned to social media on the day to address the matter of the Metro FM Awards snubbing her when nominating Kabza de Small for their song Khusela.

Msaki wishing Thandiswa a happy birthday is a continuation of the two showing love to each other on social media after it was rumoured that the two musicians might not be close. As reported:

Thandiswa Mazwai, who knows how to banter with her followers on Twitter, recently showcased her playful side on the blue app. This came off the back of her response to one of many tweeps who asked that she could collaborate with Msaki on her new music.

Mazwai then responded to the post suggesting that she does not like Msaki and considers her to be her “least favourite person” in the world. Of course, Mazwai went on to tag Msaki in order for her to know what she said.

However, at the time, it seemed that Mazwai might have been sincere as Msaki did not respond immediately. However, this could have been due to the fact that Msaki recently relayed that she was taking a break from being a “celebrity.” This coming off the back of allegations of infidelity between herself and married broadcaster Smash Afrika.
