Singer Thandiswa Mazwai finds herself caught in a crossfire for somehow raising her voice for what she thought was a noble action. Following a video of Somalian nationals being turned away from a Barcelona Clinic in Daveyton, Mazwai's opinions were met with a tough crowd who basically told her to take keep quite and go stand in the corner.

The video making rounds on social media of three Somalian nationals with a child being denied medical attention at a clinic in Daveyton has really gotten scores of people talking. Thandiswa Mazwai was no exception as she takes to Twitter to voice her call the whole act inhumane and a sham to the human race.
Mazwai found the whole situation discriminating against humanity on the bases of tribes. Mazwai who hardly speaks on social ills saw an opportunity to be a bigger person but little did she know tweeps were certainly not jumping for joy over her commentary.

Outraged tweeps by Thandiswa Mazwai's commentary did not beat around the bush to call Mazwai out on her privilege. As a celebrity, Mazwai does not access medical attention from public institutions but private. Hence she is catching smoke because tweeps feel as though her concerns are too hypocritical.

"U celebs are really out of touch with the daily struggles of the low income citizens such a shame that a person whom once claimed to be one of them is now talking about ubuntu in their gated communities with medical aid n their kids attending private schools" wrote Cleo Mo
Not by a long show was Mazwai anticipating the backlash that she is getting. However people are upset and disgruntled as it is with load shedding and power outrage, water scarcity, on top of that having to deal with immigrants who are also taking from the little the locals have.
