On Wednesday the 2nd of October 2019, ZAlebs published a story titled, "I Want The Weave Thando Thabethe Promised Me!".
In the article I wrote about a woman by the name of Londi who alleged that she had won a competition on Thando Thabethe's Instagram page, thereby winning a weave in the process. Londi went on to accuse Thando of withholding her prize in a tweet which gained a lot of traction and caught my attention.
It turns out there is more to the story than what Londi had us believe. We later learnt Thando had replied to Londi on social media, and also that Thando had already awarded and congratulated a winner on her Instagram page.
Both of these points were brought to our attention on Thursday afternoon when Thando called out ZAlebs for publishing a 'biased and incomplete story'. 
Londi it seems was just an unhappy or confused fan and Thando did not withhold any prizes from the rightful winner of her social media competition.
Well, at least some people found it funny..
