OPW fans were sad to hear that their favourite presenter thus far was taking yet another break from the show. Some even feared that she might never return as OPW's policy is to change presenters every season.
But fear not, Mzansi favourite presenter is on her way back.
Speaking to Emmanuel Tjiya of Sowetan, Thembisa confirmed that she has been filming new episodes and come Sunday, 9 July, she'll be back on our screens.
"I always miss my crew a lot, they take care of me so much. I miss the weddings themselves because every wedding comes with something different. The food and hospitality are always incredible. Because you taste the cakes, you have to tell yourself 'don't go in too much'. It's difficult because you are in front of the screen, your weight fluctuates and people can spot that," said Mdoda.
In addition to duking it out with Bonang Matheba, Robert Marawa, Phat Joe and Pearl Modiadie for that coveted first DSTV Mzansi Viewers' Choice Awards TV Presenter crown, Thembisa will reportedly by on set filming two movies.
She will also continue to slay as a Touch HD host and mom to two boys.
All we can say is, welcome back, we're looking forward to hearing that signoff once again.
